Since the day when I missed The-Greatest-Final-of-All between Federer and Nadal (tennis), I have vowed to myself never again such atrocity will happen.
In this case of yesterday night actually, is between the final match for Champions' League between Barcelona against Manchester United.

Even though I support neither since one
I was dead sleepy you see (and work the next day), but I picked myself up and forced myself out of the bed, through my door and plonked myself (horizontally) on my couch to catch the match.
I managed to catch like 20 minutes of the second half to decided that this match was not worth sacrificing my sleep for. You got that right. I bailed out of the match after only 20 minutes.
Nothing like a final. Nothing like two greatest teams trying to vie for the European grandeur. Nothing like two teams with wonderful flair and speed to outmatch each other.
It was one other team who was better in everything. EVERYTHING.
Speed, agility, possession, creativity, sharpness, shot on goals -EVERYTHING- dominated by one team.
And what a sad final that is - knowingly, the Red Devils are known for their flair and speed and experience in the chase, but how they were simply outclassed like they were first timers at the effort.
I judged this all on the first 20 minutes of second half, I didn't think I needed any more evidence on which was the better team- and headed straight to bed.
Despite most of you who might say I am biased because I am a Blues (and loathe MU), I strongly support a few players in MU and wished they are (were) out of the team to convey my uttermost support. Previously Solskjaer, Beckham, Stam, Cantona and now, Ronaldo and Vidic.
And the Barca win? Was even more painful on my (and I presume other Blues') side because we were so close then to beat the Europe's best.
But what I would say? That's football.
Aye to good football and till next season!

the semi is more like a final to me. it's sad that it was just a semi
I wudnt want to say much because MU ppl are going to contradict me saying Henry and Puyol weren't around during the 2nd leg semi(who was phenomenal during the Barca-MU final btw)..
But yea, it was quite a bad performance for a final..
